"Draw Blood for Proof originated as a montage of images on the walls of my New York loft. It was composed of snap shots, contact sheets, prints and Polaroids collected from 10 years of working and documenting my life. The photographs eventually found their way to the Roth Horowitz Gallery as an installation, wallpapering the site from floor to ceiling. The exhibition was curated by Neville Wakefield in 2004. At the closing we photographed the walls ...on an 8 x 10 camera, with the idea that one day we would make a book." Artist's statement. Item #13008
