Fundraiser for Steve Hiett: "Many of you may know Steve personally and many more of you will be familiar with his photography. Steve has been a top fashion photographer for more than 40 years and really needs no introduction. Steve is not only a fashion photographer, he is also an accomplished guitarist and graphic designer with the soul of a poet. More importantly than all of these achievements, Steve is a father and a dear friend to many who is very much loved by all who know him. Unfortunately Steve has been unable to work for the past year. He can no longer travel between New York and Paris to work, and has moved to a small village in the South of France, to pursue treatment for advanced cancer. Several of us who are close to him are trying to raise some money to alleviate the financial pressure that Steve is having to deal with on top of everything else. Together with David Strettell from Dashwood books, I am delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to buy one of Steve’s iconic prints. Steve has chosen a picture each of three of his favourite models who are also longstanding dear friends of his : myself, Kirsten Owen and Jeny Howorth. These signed inkjet prints on hahnemühle 350°paper will be produced in a limited edition of 5, measuring 30 x 40 cm. They are offered at the great price of $1000 each or 875 euros with all proceeds going to Steve.
