The artist, Dai Fujimura, and his partner the poet, Ajikatan, live and work together in the city of Wakayama in Japan, producing work in multi-media practice employing photography, poetry, ceramics, and video under the name Fujimura Family. Their projects are about their domestic life together as a young couple with a child and a pet cat expressing ideas about the nature of their shared experience. "Proof of Living" is an expanded version of their self-published book made in a tiny ltd edition of only 100 copies in 2020, available here for a broader audience from the Japanese publisher, Marginal Press.
