“New Years Eve / New Years Day” The first section of this book was photographed on a rainy and grey New Years Eve, amidst a challenging time for me personally, when I decided last minute to jump into a car with friends and leave the familiarity of the city. The second section was photographed during a walk we took on New Years Day in Western Mass. Even in the freezing cold, the presence of friends guided what caught my eye… Tall, barren trees proving they’ve survived many winters, new growth breaking through the snow and ice, and even the lone flower blooming.
