Made for the Mexican oil company Petroleos Mexicanos in 1988 the book was never officially distributed because Meyer dedicated it to Lazaro Cardenas, a former president and left-wing idol whose son ran against Carlos Salinas in the presidential election of 1988. When Salinas won he took exception to the dedication and censored it and destroyed almost all the copies. As a result it has become highly sought after by collectors.
