Prolific German artist Martin Kippenberger produced a number of classic artist books as well as posters in the 70s and 80s. Sand in der Vaseline was the product of a four month trip to Brazil in 85/86 in which he pairs tipped in collages with the same found photo of a beach scene. Item #7074
