Seven years since the last issue of Richardson editor Andrew Richardson serves up another thoughtful well-curated collection. This issue (another is in the works for next year) is loosely based on the theme of the "Female Gaze" and includes lengthy, awe-inspiring contributions by Carolee Schneemann, Gunter Rambow, Valie Export and Genesis Breyer P-Orridge as well as a cover story on pornstar Sasha Grey photographed by Glen Luchford. Richardson in many ways was a trail blazer when it first came out in 1998 exploring the nexus of art and porn. Now that pornography is so ubiquitous in mainstream culture Richardsons probing has become more pointed, its taste more discriminating. A4 is the best issue to date. Item #9021
