Beginning with her portraits of Camille Rowe in 2012, fashion photographer Pamela Hanson collaborated with stylist Susan Winget over the next two years to develop a series of nudes and semi-nudes of eight distinct women all taken in the private suites of Lafayette House, a small hotel off the Bowery in New York City. The resulting book Private Room published by Damiani is a heartfelt celebration of female beauty and confidence produced in a short edition of only 1,000 copies.
