Book Signing for Five Cuts in Five Acts, curated by Justine Kurland at the NYABF

We will be launching Five Cuts in Five Acts curated by Justine Kurland. The collection is comprised of five zines belly banded together, works by Keisha Scarville, Genesis Báez, Mayita Mendez, Chen Xiangyun, and Tammy Rae Carland. Each artist will be present to sign the collection. They each come to collage in different ways but share the vision of collage as a shape shifting, nonlinear and speculative disruption of archives, status quo, and forms of power dynamics that might do us harm. Published by Dashwood Books and Printed Matter on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the NY Art Book Fair.
